At last week's meeting, I posed a challenge to our members - I want every member to have to participate in our new Rotary Coin Connection Challenge. Here’s how it works:
We see each other every week at our meetings, but between guest speakers, club business, and busy schedules, we don't always get the chance to sit down and truly connect. Whether it’s over a cup of coffee, lunch, or a quick visit, these one-on-one chats are a chance to learn the stories behind the faces at the table - why we joined, what keeps us passionate about service, and how we can support each other both inside and outside of Rotary.
Accept the invitation when someone gives you a call. And when the coin eventually lands in your hands, take it as an invitation! Reach out to a fellow Rotarian - maybe someone you haven't had a chance to talk to in a while or a newer member you’d like to welcome. Set up a time to meet and keep the chain going. If you've been with the club for a few years, reach out to a newer member. If you've just joined during the past year or two, reach out to someone who has been with the club for 20 or 30 years.
Let’s see how fast and how far our coin can travel by next June. And post a picture from your meeting on our Facebook page or send it to Jackie Cuthbert for the weekly bulletin!
Thank you all for your enthusiasm and for making our club such a vibrant, welcoming community!
