November 19 Whiskey Tasting Event and Fundraiser

September is about acquisition… We are in bottle collection mode! Please consider donating a bottle of whiskey for our event on November 19. Our targeted list is included with the article and you can click the link to see it full size. Will we take other selections? Of course!! If you have questions about what to get, quality, or anything else, please ask Neal MacDonald.


October is about marketing the event! We want our whiskeys established by the end of September so we can advertise in October. Our tasting event will be capped at 50 tickets. We do expect to have a raffle component for one or more rarer, collectible bottles.

Mark your calendars for Thursday, November 19! We expect to sell out… so start mentioning the event to your whiskey-drinking or whiskey-curious friends!

Would you like to volunteer? We still have room for a few positions for the event itself. You do not need to drink in order to help! (In fact, it’s kind of better that way.)

  • One person to manage the on-site set-up and logistics.
  • One person to manage the check-in station at the “front of the house”
  • 2-4 people who will be “spirit guides”… that is, discuss and pour the whiskey for attendees (a strictly no-drink position). This last is ideal for personable friends or family of Rotary Club.
