We provided $1500 dollars of digital books for this title 1 school. Students at this school all use tablets and complete much of their work using the tablets. This is an improvement over giving a child a book. The digital library enables more students to read each book at a cost saving over supplying printed books.

Dresden Elementary School serves 815 minority and low-income students in grades k-5. The students use tablets extensively in their classwork. After multiple discussions with the principal and media specialist, the school recommended adding digital books to their digital library. Digital books allow more students access to books at a lower cost compared with our previous project dsuppling printed books. |
