No Regular Friday Meeting Join Us This Friday Night (June 26) at Our End-of-Year BanquetJoin us for one of the most anticipated events of the Rotary year—our End-of-Year Banquet on Friday, June 26, at 6:00 p.m. at Dunwoody Country Club. Together, we will honor the 2025–2026 Board, led by President Matthew Johnson, and celebrate the passing of the gavel to Incoming President Dave Burr and the 2026–2027 Board. Reservations … [more] Keep the Celebration Going at Dunwoody 4th of July Parade! Uncle Sam ran the parade race in 2011 - celebrating our nation's birthday and our signature fundraiser of the day - RunDunwoody. Poor guy got caught in a rainstorm on the way to shelter after the parade was over, but he proudly represented the Rotary Club of Dunwoody in the parade. Now it's your turn! Have you ever stood along the crowded streets of Dunwoody on Independence Day, watched the vibrant parade roll by, and thought, “I wonder who builds those floats?” or “How can I be a part of that magic?" Now is your opportunity! The Rotary Club of Dunwoody is carrying out a fun-filled, 30+ year club tradition of celebrating the new Rotary year at one of Dunwoody's largest community events! We need every hand on deck to make this year’s participation an overwhelming success. This year, our impact is bigger than ever: RCD is proud to be a Silver Sponsor of the City of Dunwoody’s Fourth of July Parade. To honor this commitment and showcase our vibrant club to the community, we need a strong, enthusiastic showing of volunteers. Quick Details at a Glance: - Float Building & Social: Sunday, June 28 (Late Afternoon)
- Dunwoody 4th of July Parade: Saturday, July 4 at 9:00 AM Sharp (Staging at the corner of Jett Ferry & Mt. Vernon Highway). Wear your Rotary shirt and comfortable walking shoes.
- Hot Dog Stand & Bake Sale: Saturday, July 4 (Post-Parade) @ End of the Parade Route in Dunwoody Village
Check out the details, then contact Dave Burr to let him know how you'd like to help! We'd love to see everyone participate! [read more]
Fig Trees for Sale! Share the Magic of the Fig Tree Sprig; Support the USO I’m excited to share a unique story with you about my journey with fig tree propagation and how you can become part of it! This is my story of a hobby, propagating Fig trees, and one special little fig tree cutting that resulted in raising funds to assist our military personnel through the services of USO at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. It is also a narrative about how you can be part of the story. Fig trees are now available for purchase at the E. 48th Street Market! There’s a limited quantity, so be sure to come early to grab yours. Together, we can cultivate a love for gardening and support a cause that’s close to our hearts—one little sprig at a time! The Rotary Club of Dunwoody is a proud sponsor of Create Dunwoody's America 250 Community Puzzle Project, a citywide initiative placing custom 500-piece puzzles at local businesses and gathering spaces to bring residents together during the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration. The project places puzzles at restaurants, shops, office waiting rooms, and other community spaces, inviting residents, families, and visitors to stop in and add pieces during regular business hours. Wine Fellowship Check Out the View and Join Our Mid-Summer Wine Fellowship
Marion and Austin Bunch are inviting us to gather at their home amidst their balcony garden for a mid-summer Wine Fellowship on Sunday, July 12 from 4-6 pm. The Bunches will provide soft drinks and a fresh shrimp platter. Guests should bring a bottle of wine and an appetizer to share. We had such a large crowd last year that our table was filled with the best appetizers you can imagine! The event will take place at PLAZA TOWERS, 2575 Peachtree Rd. NE, unit 20 E, Atlanta. The building has a wide driveway and we will have valet service. It commands an amazing view of Atlanta, the perfect setting for fellowship with friends. Please let Marion know if you will be coming - by email rffa.org@gmail.com or phone at 678 296 8951.
