Succeeding Garland Jones, came Edwin B. McCuen of the Savannah Club, who served from 1934-35. Although there were no clubs added to the twenty-six which had been in existence since 1930, Governor McCuen formulated and executed a plan for an exchange of British students with four Georgia students, which was to add a great deal of pleasure to lives of Georgia Rotarians during the next year when Governor McCuen’s plan became a fact.
