No Meeting This Friday
Memorial Day Weekend

We will not have a meeting this Friday, honoring the start of the Memorial Day weekend. We hope you enjoy time with your family and friends. If your plans allow, you might want to attend one of the many Memorial Day celebrations in the metro Atlanta area - including one at the Brook Run Park Veterans Memorial (4770 N. Peachtree Road) at 10:30 am on Monday. The public ceremony is hosted by Dunwoody Parks and Recreation with support from the Dunwoody/Sandy Springs VFW Post 10822 and Dunwoody Woman’s Club.

Golf Tournament Update
Thanks FORE! the Memories!

Thanks to Bob O'Brien and Charlie Augello, the entire golf tournament committee and all of our volunteers and sponsors for making our annual FORE! the Memories Golf Tournament fundraiser the best yet! And to all who prayed for good weather - you couldn't have done a better job! Watch for more in the next week or so about how we performed in the fundraising category!

Thanks for Your Service
Heartfelt Thanks from Splash Festivals!

From the Dunwoody Arts Festival Staff ...

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the Dunwoody Art Festival! From setup to closing, your hard work, flexibility, and dedication helped make the festival a success. Events like this truly take a team effort, and we are incredibly grateful for each person who gave their time and energy to serve our artists and guests.

To our amazing volunteers, thank you for showing up with such positivity, kindness, and willingness to help wherever needed. Your support made a huge impact throughout the weekend.

A very special thank-you to the Rotary Club for your continued partnership and support. Your team consistently brings such generosity, encouragement, and strength to our festivals, and we are so grateful for the way you serve our community and our artists so well. A special shout-out to Kathy and Russell for organizing the team!

In the Mood for Dinner and a Show?

The Dunwoody Diners are happy to provide two theater opportunities in the near future:

  • On June 13, we'll head to the Aurora Theater in Lawrenceville to see "In the Heights" - with a 5:30 pm dinner first at Dominck's (197 W Crogan St, Lawrenceville, GA 30046). You can get your tickets by calling the box office at 678-226-6222.
  • On September 26, we'll head to the Byers Theater in the Sandy Springs Performing Arts Center to see "Les Miserables" - with a 5:30 pm dinner at Aldo's (6690 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs, GA 30328). The best way to get tickets is by calling the box office at404-477-4365 (open M - F from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm).

For both events:

  • You are responsible for getting your own tickets to the show
  • We ask that you RSVP to sherrylevy13@hotmail.com with your number of attendees ... by June 11 for In the Heights and by September 10 for Les Miserables, so that we can make dinner reservations.
